BMSB industry information sessions (NNF 2020/158)
The IFCBAA being a member of the Department of Agriculture Cargo Consultative Committee has been asked by the department if we can forward the following information onto any European or North American based BMSB stakeholders that may be interested in participating in the BMSB information sessions.
European/North American BMSB industry information sessions
The Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment (the department) and the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries will be hosting online Brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) information sessions for European and North American stakeholders on Monday 17 August, and Wednesday 19 August, 2020 respectively.
The information sessions will include a review of the 2019-20 risk season and information about the 2020-21 BMSB seasonal measures relevant to offshore treatment providers and export industry stakeholders. Participants will have an opportunity to ask written questions at the completion of the presentation.
Please note: these information sessions will focus on issues relating to offshore treatments and export requirements only. An industry information session for Australian based BMSB stakeholders is also being planned with details of this session to be provided in the near future.
The European and North American BMSB information sessions will be held using the Microsoft Teams platform. They will be held at the following times:
