New ECP Truck Rank and Stop areas for the Port Botany Precinct

The enclosed notice from NSW Ports provides background details and an aerial view of the effects on this development.

IFCBAA understands this action from NSW Ports, which ideally should have some benefits in terms of more formal direction for transport companies (and their truck drivers) engaged in empty container dehire and pick up from the ECPs in the Port Botany area.

The IFCBAA position is that these ECPs do still need to improve their systems and processes, in addition to extending their operating days and hours, as industry continues to try to work together under the current challenges.

IFCBAA encourages Members to provide feedback on the effects of this development in coming weeks, which will be then provided to NSW Ports.
