Full acceptance course
In this course you will learn how to interpret and apply the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code to shipments of hazardous material being sent by sea. 
The course is designed to provide comprehensive training in the theory and practical aspects of shipping dangerous goods by sea. It examines the IMDG Code and provides you with a systematic approach to packaging and documenting a hazardous shipment for sea transport.

Refresher course 
In this course you will learn what has changed between the current International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code and the new one.  We remind you of the IMDG requirements and highlight what will change in the new edition and how they need to be applied.
The course is designed to provide an update in the theory and practical aspects of shipping dangerous goods by sea and provide you with the information you need to ensure your work practices and procedures are in line with the changes.

How is the course delivered?

The DG Sea Initial and refresher courses are currently available via Zoom.

The IMDG Code changes every two years and your accreditation is only valid whilst the edition of the IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code) in which you have been trained is effective.
